Mrs. Bertha Williams

CENTER -- Funeral services for Mrs. Bertha Williams, 82, of Center were held 2 p.m. Tuesday in White Rock Church with the Rev. Clayton Battles officiating.

Burial was in White Rock Cemetery under the direction of Mangum Funeral Home.

Mrs. Williams died Sunday morning in Memorial Hospital at Center following a long illness.

She was a lifelong resident of Waterman Community in Shelby County and was a member of White Rock Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Lessie Williams and Mrs. J. W. Livingston both of Center; two sons Bunkcom Williams and Fate Williams both of Center; three sisters, Mrs. George Williams, Mrs. Bunchie Renfro and Mrs. Polly Sketeers [sic Skeeters] of Nacogdoches; three brothers, Barto Bailey and Harvey Bailey of Center and Wilborn Bailey of Timpson; ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
