Bertha Catherine Emmons
January 23, 1914 - April 7, 2011

Bertha Catherine Emmons, 97, of Center, passed away Thursday, April 7, 2011 at Nacogdoches Medical Hospital. She was born January 23, 1914 in Mansfield, Louisiana to Adolph Ambrose Poissoit and Josephine Poissoit. Ms. Emmons was a member of Maranatha of San Leon. She worked in Children's Church, Sunday School and was missionettes director.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Friday, April 8, 2011 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, April 9, 2011 at Watson & Sons Chapel with Bro. Jack Forbis. Interment will follow at Old Center Cemetery in Panola County.
