Mrs. Bertha Head

SIKES -- Funeral services for Mrs. Bertha Josephine Head, 80, of Sikes were tentatively set for 2:30 p.m. today in Hart Assembly of God Church of Sikes with the Rev. Huey White and the Rev. Joel Upton officiating.

Burial was to be in Sikes Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.

Mrs. Head died at 8:20 a.m. Tuesday at her residence.

Survivors include three sons, Onus Head, the Rev. Jack Head and Issac Head, all of Sikes; four daughters, Mrs. Lillie Mae Tucker of Sikes, Mr[s]. Violet Whitaker of Pinley Park, Ill., Mrs. Rosa Howell of Monroe and Mrs. Colleen Parker of Tioga; one sister, Mrs. Nora Head of Sikes; 34 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
