Bertha M. Freeman
MEADVILLE -- Bertha M. Freeman, 83, of Meadville, died there Feb. 22, 1994, at Franklin Memorial Hospital.
Services were at 2 p.m. today at Concord Baptist Church, with the Revs. Lindeall Greer and Tony Mullins officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery, with Catchings Funeral Home of McComb in charge of arrangements.
Miss Freeman was born Nov. 17, 1910, in Franklin County. She was the daughter of the late Thomas Jefferson Freeman and Ara Freeman Freeman.
She was a homemaker and a member of Temple Hill Church of Christ.
She also was preceded in death by one brother, Edgar Freeman; and two nieces [sic sisters], Rit[t]ie Rollins and Rosie Freeman.
She is survived by one brother, Amos Freeman of Natchez; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Paul Wallace, Delbert Barnett, Talmadge Jordan, J.R. Thornton, Clifton Fleming and Lloyd Young.
