MRS. BESSIE BROUSE
SULPHUR (Spl.) -- Funeral services for Mrs. Bessie Brouse, 56, of 816 N. Crocker St., will be at 4 p.m. today in the Hixson Funeral Home chapel.
The Rev. Joe Bartlett, pastor of the First Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Mrs. Brouse died in her residence Saturday night. She was a native of LaSalle Parish and had lived in the Sulphur area for 52 years.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Lake Chapter No. 209 Eastern Star of Sulphur. The OES will conduct ceremonial services as part of the funeral.
Survivors are four daughters, Mrs. Billy Moses, Mrs. John Moak and Mrs. G. W. McMillan, all of Sulphur, and Mrs. Jimmie Allen of Los Lunas, N.M.; one son, W. J. Gardner of Sulphur.
Also one brother, Elvin Daigle of Palo Alto, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Johnnie Johnson of Sulphur, Mrs. Charlie Heddings of Rosario, Argentina, and Mrs. Lil Schroeder of Hollywood, Calif.; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
