Mrs. Bessie McWilliams

Funeral services for Bessie Viola McWilliams, 71, were held at 2 p.m., Thursday, November 19, 1992, at the chapel of Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Forest, MS. Rev. Ronnie Culpepper officiated. Interment was made in the Lorena Baptist Church Cemetery in Smith County, MS.

Mrs. McWilliams passed away on Wednesday, November 18, 1992, at Leake Extended Care Nursing Home in Carthage, MS. Mrs. McWilliams was retired from McWilliams Salvage. She was a member of the Lorena Baptist Church.

Survivors include: one son, Winford McWilliams, Forest, MS; two daughters, Merdis Reid, Forest, MS; Novilla Odom, Forest, MS; four brothers, L.D. Arinder, Jackson, MS; Floyd Arinder, Morton, MS; Horace Arinder, Lorena, MS; George Arinder, Lorena, MS; four sisters, Lois Baynes Smith, Lorena, MS; Mary Arinder, Lorena, MS; Marie Wheat, Shreveport, LA; Verdell Burnham, Pelahatchie, MS; 14 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Benny Reid, Dale McWilliams, Deckie Arinder, Michael Arinder, Pedo Reid, and Bobby McWilliams.

Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Forest was in charge of the arrangements.
