Funeral services for Beth E. Erskins will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, June
3, 1999 in the Bethlehem Baptist Church, Calvin, LA. Dr. William Poe
will officiate. Burial will follow in the Bethlehem Cemetery under the
direction of Southern Funeral Home, Winnfield.
Mrs. Erskins, age 49 of Overland Park, KS died Saturday, May 29, 1999 in
her residence. She was a Winnfield native and a registered nurse and
homemaker. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.
Survivors are her husband, Danny Wayne Erskins of Overland Park, KS; one
son; Dannon Erskins and wife Penny of Houston, TX; one daughter, Peyton
Erskins of Chicago, IL; mother Gertrude Garrett of Calvin, LA; one
grandchild, Gabriel Erskins of Houston, TX; one brother, Dwaine Garrett
of Calvin, LA and one sister, Janet Trawick of Calvin, LA.
Friends may visit in the Southern Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. on
Wednesday and from 9 a.m. Thursday until service time in the Bethlehem
Baptist Church.
