BETH WINDHAM

SPRINGVILLE -- Beth Windham, age 56, of Springville, died April 9, 2007. She was born August 13, 1950 and was raised in Springville, Alabama. After graduating from Springville High School where she was a cheerleader and Miss Springville, she completed her education at Stephens College in Fashion and Design. She was a flight attendant for Eastern Airlines based in San Juan, Puerto Rico then returned to work with her father and brother at their propane gas companies, St. Clair Gas and Magic Gas as their president and vice president, respectively. She was a partner in Windham Real Estate and FFW Corp. at the time of her death. Most of all, she will be remembered as the most beautiful, vibrant redhead Alabama has ever known.

She is survived by her brother, Lewis Ralph Windham II; her aunts and uncles, Jean and Madison Forman, Alma and James Forman; and her cousins, Pam Forman Dunn, Kit Windham Bowen, Sam Windham and Tom Windham.

She is preceded in death by her sister, Mateé Windham and her parents, Margaret Forman (Pat) and Lewis Ralph Windham.

A memorial service was held Saturday, April 14, at the Springville Presbyterian Church.
