Betty Jo Hanes Davis was born to William Jennings Bryan Hanes and Audrey Ethel Farr Hanes July 16, 1923 in Combine, Texas. She passed from her families' hands into the Lord's hands on February 6, 2010.
Betty Jo married lst Gene Edward Alexander February 15, 1942 and later married William Major Davis December 24, 1947.
Survived by sister and brother-in-law, Polly and Harold Lewis of Seagoville, TX; son and daughter-in-law, David and Cynda Alexander of Seagoville, TX; daughter and son-in-law, Jo Anne and Roger Pruitt of Athens, TX; grandchildren, Alicia Alexander of Crandall, TX, Bryan Alexander of Frisco, TX, Shane and Leanna Pruitt of Seguin, TX, Nicky and Troy Daniel of Marion, IL, Shelby Kizer, and Brandon Huddleston; great-grandchildren, Brycen Cox, Kaylee Rodriquez, Blake and Kendalynn Pruitt, and Garrett and Kenzie Daniell; niece, Angie and Paul Young; great nephew and niece, Paul, Jr. and Sloane Young.
Preceded in death by parents and husband.
Services 10:00 AM Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at Roselawn Chapel with interment following at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Combine, TX.
Visitation 6-8:00 PM Monday at Roselawn Chapel.
