COLUMBIA -- Services for Betty M. Thomas will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Riser & Son with the Rev. Wayne Kite officiating. Burial will be in Winnfield City Cemetery.
Mrs. Thomas, 63, of Columbia died Sunday, March 20, 1994, in Rapides Regional Medical Center, Alexandria.
She was a native of Winnfield and owned and operated the Trophy Shoppe in Columbia. She was a former schoolteacher in Caldwell and Rapides parishes.
Survivors include her husband, Tommy Thomas of Columbia; two sons, Mack Thomas of Haughton and Cagle Thomas of Vidalia; two daughters, Debbie Malone of Pineville and Dawn Estis of Haughton; her stepmother, Lois E. McCooy [sic McCloy] of Winnfield; a half-sister, Alic Ann Brockner of Winnfield; and a number of grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. Wednesday until time of services.
