Betty Marie Fry
December 8, 1936 - August 15, 2005

Graveside services for Betty Marie Fry longtime resident of Osage, Oklahoma will be held Saturday, August 20, 2005 at 11:00 am in the Osage Cemetery with Pastor Mike Cartwright officiating under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home, Inc.

Betty was born December 8, 1936 in Florance, Arizona to Homer and Isabell (South) Prock. Betty grew up in the Coolidge, Arizona area. Betty was later united in marriage to Burlin Lee in 1951. They soon made their home in Orange County, California. Betty and Burlin remained in California until the late 1970's. At that time they moved to Pochantas, Arkansas. While living in Pochantas Betty began working at the local Pizza Hut. In the early 1980's Betty was promoted to manager and was transferred to Malden, Missouri. Betty continued to work as the manager until 1989. On August 29, 1987 Betty was united in marriage to Donald Lee Fry in Dora, Oklahoma.

After Betty and Donald were married they moved to Osage, Oklahoma where they have continued to live for the past 15 years. Betty loved to hunt, being outdoors and was even a “Sharpshooter”. She also liked to decorate her home with Indian and cowboy items. Betty was also a member of the Assembly of God Church.

Betty passed away August 15, 2005 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 68 years 8 months and 7 days. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Burlin Lee as well as three brothers Harvey Prock, Bill Prock and Homer Prock.

Surviving Betty are her husband Donald of the home; two sons, Jimmy Dale Lee of Lake Havasu, Arizona; Dennis Gale Lee of Norco, California; four daughters Nancy Kaye Greenly of Hominy, Oklahoma; Donna Marie Lemmons of Farmington, New Mexico; Denise Marlene Frakes of Pocahontas, Arkansas; Shelia Marie Fry of Tulsa, Oklahoma; one sister Deana Cartwright of Prue, Oklahoma; one brother Joyel Lynn Prock of Arizona; 15 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
