MRS. ARTHUR MEREDITH

Funeral services for Mrs. Arthur Meredith, 75, who died here Tuesday afternoon at 4:10 o'clock at the home of a daughter, Mrs. E. E. Darden, 2918 Dick Taylor street, was held this morning at 11 o'clock at Welcome Home Church at Grayson with the Rev. J. D. Kitchingham officiating. Interment followed in Welcome Home Cemetery under the direction of Riser Funeral Home of Columbia.

Pallbearers were L. L. Darden, Ernest Dollar, Paul Darden, Dick Day, Tom Tingle and S. A. Gregory.

Mrs. Meredith is survived by a daughter, Mrs. E. E. Darden; four sons, Claude Jones, Lake City, Tenn.; Charlie Jones, Monroe; Forrest Jones, Lenoir City, Tenn., and Cpl. Luther Jones, with the U. S. army in Germany; a sister, Mrs. Julia Richardson, Colfax; a brother, Charlie McBride, Dry Prong, and 15 grandchildren.
