Beverly Coe Zepponi

LELAND - Graveside services for Beverly Coe Zepponi, 68, of Leland, will be 2 p.m. Monday at Greenlawn Memorial Cemetery, Greenville. She died Friday, Oct. 5, 2012, at her home. Burial will be under the direction of Mortimer Funeral Home, Greenville.

She was born in Grenada in 1943. Coe received a bachelor's degree in education and counseling from Delta State University. She spent her time as a homemaker. louis martin Her interests included gourmet cooking, gardening, reading, art, tennis, interior design, and playing bridge. She kept her mind sharp with intellectual challenges such as answering every Jeopardy question and cryptogram puzzles, even though she had limited vision later in life. She was very talented in making Italian cuisine, such as homemade pasta and ravioli. She devoted much of her time and energy to her family members.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Grant Vance; and her father, Luther McCracken.

Mrs. Zepponi is survived by her brother, Barry McCracken, of Grandbury, Texas; her husband of 48 years, Alex Zepponi, Jr.; two daughters, Nikki Zepponi (Brady) Wuestenhoefer and Michele Zepponi; two sons, Sean (Rachael) Zepponi and Xan Zepponi; four grandchildren, Landry (Jarrett) Powell, Kendall Horton, Harper Horton and Matthew Zepponi; and one great-grandchild, Peyton Powell.

Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
