BIDMER WALKER

WAYNESBORO, Miss. -- Funeral services were held Wednesday, 2 p.m. at Liberty Baptist Church for Bidmer Walker, 65, Rt. 1, Waynesboro. The Revs. Mr. Sumner and William Fraiser officiated, with burial in Liberty Cemetery. Wayne County Funeral Home was in charge.

Walker died Dec. 18 at Wayne General Hospital. He was a retired road and oil field construction worker, a lifelong resident of Wayne County, and a member of Liberty Baptist Church.

Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Marie S. Walker; three sons, O. W. Walker, Bidmer Ray Walker, both of Waynesboro; James D. Walker, Jackson, Ala.; one daughter, Mrs. Marjolyn Hartley, Waynesboro; 13 grandchildren, and six sisters, Mrs. Mattie Lucas, Mrs. Nola Chiles, Mrs. Katties Davis, all of Waynesboro; Mrs. Margaret Wells, Meridian; Mrs. L. A. Whitaker, Uvalde, Tex.; and Mrs. Gladys Akins of Quitman.
