Billie Marie Burnum-Chairez

KERRVILLE -- Billie Marie Burnum-Chairez went to be with our Lord Saturday, October 22, 2005. She was born December 11, 1932, in Fort Worth, Texas.

Billie retired from Civil Service in 1990, she was a lifetime member of VFW Ladies Auxillary, and she was a member of St. Christopher's Episcopal Church in Bandera.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Mary Frances Burnum, and her sisters, Gertrude and Mary Frances.

Survivors include her loving husband, Joe Chairez, and children, Mark Foster and wife Madeline, Lisa Putman and husband James, Brad Foster, Tina Bergbauer and husband Craig, Joey Chairez and wife Becky, Patricia Perez and husband Frank, Ricky Chairez and Daney Chairez and wife Nancy; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.

Visitation is set for Tuesday, October 25, at Grimes Chapel from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, October 26, at 10 a.m. at St. Christopher's Episcopal church with the Rev. Rick Dunham officiating. Interment will follow in the Episcopal Cemetery.
