COLLINS, BILLY J.
Died at 7:25 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, 1978, at the family residence in Baton Rouge. He was 49, a native of Winnsboro. He was an auditor for the Louisiana Department of Revenue and an Air Force veteran of World War II. Body at Welsh Funeral Home, with visiting from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday and after 8 a.m. Monday. Religious services at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Tommy Harrell. Burial in Roselawn Cemetery.
Survived by his wife, Mrs. Barbara Valentine Collins, Baton Rouge; two daughters, Patricia and Paula Collins, both of Baton Rouge; two sons, Billy Collins Jr. and Wiley Collins, both of Baton Rouge; five sisters, Mrs. Mary L. Clarkson, Delhi, Mrs. Elsie Worthan, Mansfield, Mrs. Willie Earl McNemar, Calif., Mrs. Patsy Miller, Monroe, and Mrs. Shirley Shelley, Ellisville, Miss.; and a brother, John W. Collins, Baton Rouge.
He was a member of Southside Baptist Church.
