Billy C. Puckett

Billy C. Puckett, a native and lifelong resident of Jackson, died at a local hospital Friday at 6:30 p.m. after a long illness. He was a Baptist and the own and operator of Bill's Curb Stores in Jackson.

He is survived by two sisters, Miss Katie E. Puckett of Jackson, and Mrs. Roy Gates Sr. of Mendenhall Rt. 2, a neice [sic niece], Miss Rebecca Gates, and one nephew, Roy Gates Jr., both of Mendenhall Rt. two.

Funeral services will be held from Baldwin Funeral Home officiating.

Funeral services for Billy C. Puckett, 29, of 362 Fortification St., will be held Monday at 2 p.m. from Baldwin Funeral Home Chapel, with Dr. Foy Rogers officiating.

Interment will be in Cedarlawn Cemetery.

He is survived by two sisters, Miss Katie E. Puckett of Jackson; and Mrs. Roy Gates Sr. of Mendenhall, one niece, Miss Rebecca Gates; and one nephew, Roy Gates Jr., both of Mendenhall.
