BILLY D. BROGAN

Billy D. Brogan, 76, of Meridian, died Sunday, Aug. 26, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, at Barham Funeral Home in Meridian, with burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The Revs. Roy Dabbs and Jerry Johnson will officiate.

He was retired and worked part-time for Bill Ethridge Lincoln-Mercury. He was a United States Navy World War II veteran, a 32 Degree Mason and a Shriner.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Brogan of Meridian; three sons and two daughters-in-law, John Douglas Brogan, Billy Thomas ``Tommy'' Brogan Sr. and Carolyn Gayle Brogan, all of Meridian, and Jackie Stephen Brogan and Kaycee Brogan of Grenada; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother, Charles Brogan of Laurel; and three sisters, Dorothy Bradford, Barbara Holifield and Mary Parker, all of Laurel.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. today, at Barham Funeral Home in Meridian, which is in charge of arrangements.
