Billy Frank `Toot' Emmons

CARROLLTON - Billy Frank `Toot' Emmons, 67, retired mechanic for Delta Chevrolet in Greenwood after 20 years, died of diabetes Thursday at Greenwood-Leflore Hospital in Greenwood. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Liberty Baptist Church in Jefferson with burial in the church cemetery. Williams & Lord Funeral Home in Greenwood has charge. He was an Army veteran.

Mr. Emmons, the husband of Mary Gibbs Emmons, also leaves two daughters, Frankie Evans of Sunflower and Brenda Malone of Carrollton; his mother, Beatrice Emmons of Carrollton; a sister, Nancy Wurthman of Japan; a brother, Larry Emmons of Winona, five grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
