Billy H. Park

KILGORE -- Graveside services for Billy H. Park, 67, of Kilgore will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Longview with Mr. Wayne Goff officiating.

He died in a Kilgore nursing home Wednesday.

He was born Feb. 26, 1925, in Tuttle, Okla.

He had been a resident of Kilgore for eight years and had previously lived in Grants, N.M.

He was a veteran of World War II, having received a Purple Heart Medal and other decorations in the war.

Survivors include wife, Marriam, son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Joan Park of Kilgore; daughters and sons-in-law, Gail and Dan Shock of Roebuck, S.C., and Claudia and Don Lackey of Kilgore; brother and sister-in-law, Tommy and Shirley Park of Tuttle, Okla.; eights [sic eight] grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
