Billy Joe Parker Sr.

WINNFIELD - Services for Billy Joe Parker Sr. will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in United Pentecostal Church with the Revs. H.W. Smith and Keith Smith officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery in Joyce under direction of Southern.

Parker, 59, of Sikes died Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2000, in Lincoln General Hospital, Ruston.

He was a native of Sikes, a member of United Pentecostal Church and a logger.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth B. Parker of Sikes two sons, Billy Joe Parker Jr. and Tony Landes Parker, both of Sikes one daughter, Melody Ann Burnett of Dodson his mother, Ella Parker of Sikes one brother, James W. Parker of Bossier City three sisters, Sue Dehn of West Monroe, Lynn Batson of Nampa, Idaho, and Fran Vines of Sikes and three grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jared Cox, Joseph Cox, Samuel Busby, Dennis Parker, Robbie Dehn and Kevin Vines.

Friends may call from 10 a.m.-10 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. until time of service Thursday in the church.
