Billy O'Neal Sutherland
Bonham, Texas -- Graveside services for Billy O'Neal Sutherland, age 68 will be held Monday, April 12, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at the Gober Cemetery, in Gober, Texas. Bro. Rickey Granstaff will officiate.
Mr. Sutherland passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2004 at the Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas.
He was born the son of Garrett Munford and Clara Lee Emmons Sutherland on February 27, 1936 in the Elwood Community.
Mr. Sutherland married Deborah Ross Goates on June 11, 1984.
He was a mechanic for the Texas Highway Department until his retirement in May 1998. After retirement he was self-employed as dumptruck operator. He was a member of the Hams Radio Club and the Fannin County Amateur Radio Club.
He is preceded in death by his brother, G.D. Sutherland.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah Sutherland, Bonham, Texas; sons, Tommy Sutherland, Gober, Texas; Timmy Sutherland, Gober, Texas; Tony Sutherland, Gober, Texas; Lynsey Sutherland, Boyd, Texas; daughter, Christianna Sutherland, Lamasco, Texas; sister, Virginia Williams, Paris, Texas; brother, Vernon Sutherland, Bonham, Texas; 9 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren.
