Graveside services for Mr. Billy Ray Trichell, 73, of Monroe, LA, will be at 10:00AM, Saturday, July 8, 2006, at New Light Baptist Church Cemetery, with Rev. Joseph Puthuppally officiating. Interment will be under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, LA.

Mr. Trichell, a retired Monroe City Fire Captain, was born December 23, 1932, in Monroe, LA, and died July 4, 2006, in Monroe, LA. He was also a building contractor. His parents, Freeman Trichell and Sula Long Trichell, preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife of thirty-three years, Regena Rhinehart Trichell; sons, Russell L. Wheat and wife Cynthia of Upland, CA; Billy J. Trichell and wife Debbie of Monroe, LA, Monte Trichell and wife Lisa of Monroe, LA, and Keith Trichell and wife Ellen of West Monroe, LA; daughters, Dennise Lankford and husband Jack of Monroe, LA, and Nadine Mize and friend Shawn Hughes of Monroe, LA; sixteen grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; brother, Charles E. Trichell and wife Evelyn of Prairieville, LA; sister, Jo Ann Pharr and husband Virgil of Vicksburg, MS; mother-in-law, Alma Rhinehart of Mangham, LA; brother-in-law, Lloyd Rhinehart and wife Beverly of Pasadena, TX; a host of nieces and nephews; and special friends, Tommy and Jennifer Ingles and boys.

Pallbearers will be David Trichel, Ricky Trichel, Michael Trichell, Toby N. Trichell, Kyle Simpson, and Richard Tharp.

Honorary pallbearers will be Danny Ryals, Lester Wood, Charles Mann, Carl Hilburn, and Fred Nugent.

Visitation will be from 5:00PM until 9:00PM, Friday, July 7, 2006, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, LA. A vigil wake service will be at 6:00PM.

Memorials may be made to St. Matthew Catholic Church or New Light Baptist Church.
