Billy Ray Wright, 77 of Manifest, Louisiana was received into Heaven on Friday, November 16, 2012

He was born to the union of Sherman R. and Annie (McMillin) Wright on May 20, 1935 in Catahoula Parish. Mr. Wright was a deacon of the Pisgah Baptist Church and worked for International Paper Company as a foreman.

He was preceded in death by his wife Unev (Richey) Wright, his parents, and a brother Marshall Wright.

Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Jim Wright & wife, Stella; daughter, Deb Sharp; brother, Russell Wright & wife Sharon; two sisters, Sarah Ewing & husband Ily and Lou Ann Chapman; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

A Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Sunday at Pisgah Baptist Church. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Manifest, LA.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Saturday, November 17, 2012, at Kinner & Stevens Funeral Home Jena, Louisiana.

Serving as pallbearers, Justin Sharp, Eric Sharp, Sherman Sharp, Thunder Lurry, Chad Wright, and Anthony Squyres.
