Billy Ross Dark

NATCHITOCHES -- Services for Billy Ross Dark, 22, of Natchitoches will be at 2 p.m. today in First United Methodist Church with the Revs. Richard Hoffpauir and Abe Conerly officiating. Burial will be in Memory Lawn Cemetery under the direction of Blanchard-St. Denis.

He died at 8:15 p.m. Saturday in Natchitoches Parish Hospital of an apparently self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to Natchitoches City Police.

He was a graduate of Natchitoches Central High School and a member of the First United Methodist Church. He was a native of Columbia.

Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Billy Dark of Natchitoches; a sister, Mrs. Caston Bailes of Monroe; and his paternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Ross C. Dark of Columbia.

Honorary pallbearers were Jack Brittian Jr., Mark Adkins, Dale Carson, Mark Smith, Bo Wilson, David Disadier, Ronnie Grimett, Spencer McFarland.
