Billye Hines

Graveside services for Billye Hines, 87, of San Angelo and formerly of Levelland and Lubbock will be 3:00 pm, Tuesday, January 29, 2013, in City of Levelland Cemetery with David Noles officiating. Services are under direction of George Price Funeral Home, Levelland. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 1:30 pm until service time. She died Sunday, January 27, 2013, in San Angelo, Texas.
Billye was born on September 14, 1925, in Brady, Texas, to Victor Ludlow and Annie Lou (Watson) Bradley. She graduated from high school in Clovis, New Mexico. She married Edgar Hines in July of 1945 in Clovis. They moved to Levelland in June 1946. While in Levelland, Billye worked for Farm Bureau Insurance and Paxton-Harder Insurance. In 2009, she and Edgar moved to Lubbock and then in 2012 they moved to San Angelo where Billye resided with her daughter. She was a member of Cactus Drive Church of Christ, Levelland.
Survivors include her husband: Edgar Hines of San Angelo; a daughter Louann Cate of San Angelo; two sons: Vic Hines and his wife Paula, and Larry Hines and his wife Marybeth, all of Lubbock; a sister Martha Cobb of Lubbock; her grandchildren: Bren Hines of Lubbock, Carrie Sherman and her husband Steve of Ft. Worth, and Dave Cate and his wife Victoria of San Angelo, Texas; her great grandchildren: Katie and Zannah Sherman and Nicholas Cate.
She was preceded in death by two grandchildren Marcus Hines and Brandi Hines and her son-in-law David Cate.
