B. B. Lee of Selma Dies At Age Of 92
B. B. Lee of Selma, a 92-year old retired rural mail carrier, died Wednesday in Betsy Johnson Memorial Hospital in Dunn.
Mr. Lee was a native of Johnston County. He was a son of the late David and Nicey Coats Lee.
The funeral was scheduled for 2:30 Friday afternoon at the residence with the Rev. Jesse L. Mansfield officiating and interment in Johnson-Lee Family Cemetery.
Mr. Lee retired as a rural mail carrier in 1940 after many years of service with the Selma Post Office.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Sallie Wright Lee; three daughters, Mrs. Mozelle Lee Collins of Clayton, Mrs. Ralph Goldston of Richmond, Va., and Mrs. Josephine Seila of Lenoir; three sons, Euler B. Lee of New York, Floyd E. Lee of Richmond, Va., and Bernard W. Lee of Bullock; a brother, Thurman Lee of Route 2, Dunn; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
