Birdie Mae Rayner

Birdie Mae Rayner, age 69, and a resident of Gulfport, died Tuesday, September 27, 2005, in Gulfport.

Mrs. Rayner had been a resident of the Coast since 1963 and was a member of the Free Church of God. She formerly worked at Memorial Hospital at Gulfport, where she retired.

She was preceded in death by her husband Edison Rayner; her parents Hubert and Mary Lee Donald; brother Eugene Donald; grandchild Tina Jean Parker; sister Rosalie Hancock; and brother Hubert Donald.

Mrs. Rayner is survived by her daughters Ruby Michaels of Gulfport, Bonnie Sue Duncan and Bonnie Jean Flick, both of Saucier; brother James Curtis Donald of Laurel, MS; sisters Gladys Holifield and Stella Holifield, both of Laurel; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.

The visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m.-until, Friday, September 30, 2005, Riemann Memorial Funeral Home, Hwy 49N, Orange Grove. The funeral service will be held 4:00 p.m. Saturday, October 1, 2005, in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in the Free Church of God Cemetery, Gulfport, MS.
