Blackman Jernigan
Mr. Blackman Jernigan, who was has been [sic] sick with cancer of the stomach for three years or longer, died at his home below Benson Friday and was buried Saturday afternoon. He had been confined to his bed for a long time and his death was no surprise to his relatives. He lived in Benson up till about six months ago when he moved back to his farm to spend the remaining days of his life. Mr. Jernigan had accumulated quite a large amount of property by his industry. He leaves several sons and daughters surviving him.
