JACKSON, BLANKS F.

Died 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, 1984, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He was 82, a native of St. Landry Parish and resident of Baton Rouge. He was a retired pipeline foreman. Visiting at LaFond-Ardoin Funeral Home, Sunset Hwy., Opelousas, 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday, and 7 a.m. to religious services at 2 p.m. Monday, conducted by the Rev. Fred Shirley. Masonic rites in Myrtle Grove Cemetery, Opelousas.

Survived by wife, Martha Butler Jackson, Baton Rouge; a son, G. D. Jackson, Ferriday; three daughters, Mrs. Robert (Geraldine) Menck, Baton Rouge, Mrs. Ernie (Genie Anne) George, Kernarsville, N.C., and Mrs. V. A. (Wilda) Hosske, Lafayette; a brother, Edward Jackson, Thibodaux; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Jimmy (Carolyn) Wilson and Mrs. William D. (Pam) Myers, both of Baton Rouge; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was a member of Melville Lodge 268 F & AM, Lafayette Hope Lodge F & AM, and Shriners of Lafayette.
