Blondell F. Whitehead

FERRIDAY -- Services for Blondell Ferguson Whitehead will be at 10 a.m. today in the chapel of Young's with the Rev. Roger Johnson officiating. Burial will be at 1 p.m. in Riverview Cemetery, Monroe.

Mrs. Whitehead, 72, of Ferriday died Tuesday, Nov. 14, 1995, in her residence.

She was a native of Winnsboro and a member of First Baptist Church, Ferriday. She retired in 1981 from the public school system as a teacher.

Survivors include two sons, Raleigh W. Whitehead III of Mobile, Ala., and Robert Mason Whitehead of Spring, Texas; her mother, Willie Dark Ferguson of Ferriday; two brothers, S.C. Ferguson Jr. of Oakgrove and Charles David Ferguson of Clayton; one sister, Melba Ferguson Sport of Newnan, Ga.; and three grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, Ferriday, or the charity of the donor's choice.
