Bob Guice

Graveside services for Bob Guice , 79, 0f Longview will be 10 AM Monday, April 21st at Memory Park Cemetery with Tom Willoughby officiating. Burial is under the direction of Rader Funeral Home. Mr. Guice died Friday evening at a Longview hospital after a sudden illness.

He was born January 18, 1924 at Epps, Louisiana to Cecil and Beatrice Richey Guice. A former resident of Minden, Louisiana, Mr. Guice had lived in Longview 35 years. He was a shipping and receiving manager for Sears, a Baptist, and was a veteran of the U. S. Army.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann of Longview; his daughter and husband, Yvonne and Bill Pigott of Livingston, Texas; his sons and their wives, Melvin and Rhonda Guice of Shreveport, Mike and Cindy Guice of Heflin, Louisiana; nine grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; his brothers and their wives: Clyde and Carol Guice of Minden, Louisiana, Roy and Dorothy Guice of Hineston, Louisiana, Gene and Cathy Guice of Elizabeth, Colorado; his brother George Guice of Forest, Louisiana; his sister and husband, Mildred and Joe Welch of Minden, Louisiana; his children's mother, Hazel Guice of Bossier City and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home Sunday evening 6 to 8 PM. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, the American Heart Association or to favorite charity.
