BOBBY G. McCARTY

Funeral services for Bobby Gilbert McCarty, 32, of Route One, Moss, were held Wednesday, 10 a.m. from the Sharon Missionary Baptist Church, with the Revs. Tommy Mize, A. R. Vaughn and Harold Ishee officiating. Burial was in the Sharon Cemetery.

McCarty, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert McCarty, died Monday after a long illness. He was an employe of the Refining Department of Masonite, a member of the Sharon Missionary Baptist Church, where he was an officer and active member, and a veteran of the Korean War.

The body was taken to the residence of his father-in-law, C. H. Williams, until time for services.

McCarty is survived by his widow, Mrs. Lillie Mae McCarty, Route One, Moss; one brother, Louis Oliver McCarty, Alexandria, La., and one sister, Mrs. W. A. Greene, Route 2, Laurel.

Members of his Sunday School class served as pallbearers.
