Bonnie Jean McCool, 81 of Bay Springs, MS, died Thursday, August 21, 2014 at Jasper General Nursing Home in Bay Springs, MS. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am, on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at Montrose Baptist Church in Montrose, MS. Burial will be in Montrose Cemetery. Rev. Nonnie Jefcoat will officiate. Music will be provided by Wayne Smith and Ann Doggett. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs, MS is in charge of arrangements. 601-764-2181.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 22, 2014 from 5:00pm - 8:00pm at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home Of Bay Springs.
Mrs. McCool was preceded in death by her husband, Ham McCool; parents, Buren and Christine Jernigan Smith; 2 grandsons.
Survivors include her daughter, Glenda McCool Rogers (Joe), Clinton, MS; son, Jimmy McCool, Bay Springs, MS; sister, Annette Bergin, Laurel, MS; brothers, Thomas Smith, Bay Springs, MS and Wayne Smith, Montrose, MS; grandchildren, 3, great grandchildren, 6.
Pallbearers are Barry McCool, James McCool, Frank Phillips, Timothy Sims, Eric Smith, Hugh Bergin, Jr.
