Mrs. W. C. Meek dies in Little Rock; services Wednesday
LAUREL -- Services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Memory Chapel Funeral Home for Mrs. Bonnie Meek, 64, of Little Rock, Ark., formerly of Hattiesburg, who died Sunday morning in Little Rock of an apparent heart attack.
The Rev. Ralph Graves will officiate. Interment will be in Hickory Grove Cemetery in Laurel.
The body will lie in state at Griffin-Legett Funeral Home Chapel in Little Rock until Tuesday morning and will be placed in state at the Laurel funeral home at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
Mrs. Meek was a native of Laurel. She live[d] in Hattiesburg while her husband was employed with Hearon and McClesky Architects.
Survivors are her husband, William Claborn Meek; a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Patsy) Terrell of Houston, Tex.; a son, William C. “Bill” Meek Jr. of Vista, Ga.; three sisters, Mrs. John B. (Doris) Lloyd of Security, Colo., Mrs. C.O. (Pearle) Upton and Mrs. C.J. (Barbara) Howse, both of Laurel, and five grandchildren.
