Farmer Found Shot to Death At Nacogdoches
NACOGDOCHES, Texas -- Bonnie Spradley, 54, a farmer residing near the city limits of Nacogdoches, was found dead in his home here Monday, the victim of a shotgun blast in his head.
Justice of Peace Tom Lilly late Monday had not returned a coroner's verdict.
Mrs. Spradley told officers her husband had been in ill-health.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a daughter, Mrs. Wilma Cross of Houston; a son, Bonnie G. Spradley Jr. of Houston; two sisters, Mrs. Lillian Grimes and Miss Kathryn Spradley, both of Nacogdoches, and four brothers, Ennis Spradley, Pat Spradley, Ray [sic Bay] Spradley, and Riley Spradley, all of Nacogdoches.
Funeral services will be held here Tuesday morning.
