Brenda Kaye McClure
(November 11, 1951 - January 14, 2013)

Brenda Kaye McClure, 61, of Carmi, Illinois, died Monday, January 14, 2013, at her home. She was born November 11, 1951, in Evansville, Indiana, the daughter of Charles and Wanda (Clark) McClure. She was a nurse and enjoyed reading and genealogy.

Survivors include her father, Charles McClure of Jacksonville, TX; sisters Catherine (Bill) Owen of Carmi, Doris Swan of New Bedford, MA, Ellen (Bryan) Hayward of Indianapolis, IN; aunt LaDonna McClure of Fairfield, IL.

She is preceded in death by her mother Wanda Slaughter; step-mother Helen McClure; step-father Oscar James “Coonie” Slaughter; and sister Audrey Maloy.

Brenda's remains were cremated and a private family memorial service will be at a later date.

Memorials in Brenda's memory may be made to the Carmi Public Library or Willard Library.
