WHITTINGTON, BRIAN ``JACOB''

A resident and native of Denham Springs, he died at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 2, 2003, at his residence. He was 18.

Visitation at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday and after 9 a.m. Wednesday. Service will be held at the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. Wednesday, conducted by the Rev. Rob Burns and the Rev. Clint Mitchell. Burial in Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery, Denham Springs.

He is survived by his parents, Kevin and Becky Whittington, and Carla ``Jeannie'' Berryhill, all of Denham Springs; a sister, Kasey Berryhill, Denham Springs; a brother, Jessie Whittington, Denham Springs; two stepbrothers, Jeffery and Anthony Berryhill, both of Mississippi; stepfather, Mason Berryhill, Gonzales; paternal grandparents, Terry Bruce and Anne Whittington, Denham Springs; paternal great-grandparents, Harry and Hazel Bozeman, Denham Springs; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Norma L. Jones; paternal great-grandparents, Jessie and Elna Whittington; and two uncles, Stacy Jones and Norman Shoemaker.

He was a member of Hebron Baptist Church, Denham Springs. He loved playing football and played for a long time. He played for the Southside Buccaneers, Southside Patriots and the Denham Springs High School freshman team.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
