McDaniel Rites Set in Chapel

Funeral services for Mrs. Britanna Gertrude McDaniel, 87, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Blackburn-Shaw Memorial Chapel.

The Rev. Nolan Kennedy, pastor of the San Jacinto Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park under direction of Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Home.

Mrs. McDaniel, 107 Alabama, died at 3:05 p.m. Saturday in a private nursing home at 909 Bonham.

An Amarillo resident for 30 years, she was born Sept. 7, 1869, in Missouri.

Mrs. McDaniel, who was a Baptist, is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Fred Settle, 2205 Ong, and two sons, W. M. McGough of Inglewood, Calif., and F. B. McGough of Winslow, Ariz.
