Mrs. McCarty

Mrs. McCarty was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Edwin McCarty; her parents, John Franklin Smith and Lucretia Hatten Smith; four brothers and two sisters.

She was survived by five sons, Dr. Frellson Ezel McCarty and Denver Wayland McCarty, both of Monroe, Stanley Seidel McCarty of Bush, Charles Lindberg McCarty of New Orleans, and John G. McCarty of Lafayette; two daughters, Velma Speir and Elsie Lee, both of West Monroe; 14 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
