Bullard Maples

CLAYTON -- Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. today for Bullard Maples, 66, of Cash Bayou Community near here, at Young's Funeral Home of Ferriday with the Rev. William Roberts officiating. Burial will be in Huffman Cemetery.

Mr. Maples died Tuesday at Jefferson Davis Hospital in Natchez, Miss. after a long illness.

Survivors include two sons, Bobby Maples of Natchez, Miss. and Irving Bradley Maples of Clayton; a daughter, Miss Maxine Maples of Baton Rouge; one step-daughter, Mrs. Dollie Mae Coates of Harrisonburg; a brother, Butler Maples; a sister, Mrs. Salley Reeves of Bastrop; and five grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be J. R. Alexander, Clifford Ray Halford, Jack Chandler, Guy Tarver, the Rev. Johnnie Carrol, and Marvin White.

Note: Bobby MAPLES and Irving Bradley MAPLES were the sons of Bullard's brother, Albert Franklin MAPLES, who married Bullard's stepdaughter, Dollie Mae DARDEN.
