DEATHS

Burl Peirce [sic Pierce] Brady, 16 years of age, died this morning at 6 o'clock at the home in North Ogden, of heart disease. He was born in Montrose, Miss., in 1907, the son of Andrew and Lola Perry Brady. He is survived by his parents, two brothers and two sisters. The body was removed to Larkin and Sons' chapel. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.

FUNERALS

Funeral services for Burl Pierce Brady, who died Monday, were conducted yesterday in the North Ogden meeting house by Bishop Frederick Barker. Former class mates of the young man in the North Ogden school attended the servic[e]s in a body. A quartet, composed of Hubert A. McFarland, Charles W. Ellis, Bessie Johns and Una C. Randall. sang “O My Father.” Prayer was offered by B. F. Blaylock. Harold Pettegrew played the violin solo. Speakers were Dr. H. J. McKell, William A. Jones and Bishop Barker. Una Randall sang and there was a duet by H. A. McFarland and Alice Musser, and a song by Charles W. Ellis. William H. Hutchinson pronounced the benediction. The grave in the North Ogden cemetery was dedicated by Conrad Chatlain.
