Burnis C. Semons
Funeral services for Burnis C. Semons, 73, of Hornbeck, Louisiana will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 8, 2012, at Labby Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. James Hickman and Bro. John Lewing officiating. Burial will follow in the Toro Cemetery, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. - 9 p.m., Wednesday, November 7th, and on Thursday, November 8th, 8:00 a.m. until service time in the funeral home.
Burnis, the son of Calvin and Edna Ford Semons was born July 6, 1939, in Florien, LA. He passed away Tuesday, November 6, 2012, in Hornbeck, LA.
Mr. Semons loved to cut firewood, pick peas or any other garden work and dumpster dive. He also loved to haul Braydin, Mason, Casen, Leslie and Wyatt on the tractor.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Harvey Semons.
He is survived by his Wife, Judy Semons of Hornbeck; Brother, Hubert Semons of Waterloo, IL; Grandchildren, Braydin, Mason, Casen, Leslie and Wyatt and a host of nieces and nephews.
