Burt Dunahoe

BRIDGE CITY - Burt Dunahoe, 74, of Bridge City, died March 8, 2004 at Baptist Hospital in Orange.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. today at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Bridge City. Officiating will be Reverend R.G. Davis, retired Baptist minister and Reverend Bill Sheffield, pastor of Shiloh Baptist Church in Vidor. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. at Lone Cedar Cemetery in Shelby County.

A native of Shelby County and a former 40 year resident of Port Arthur, Mr. Dunahoe resided in Bridge City for the past 13 years. He was a retired operator for Texaco in Port Arthur, and was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a Deacon at Stone Gate Baptist Church, and Shiloh Baptist Church in Vidor.

He is survived by his wife, Patsy Dunahoe; son, Terry Dunahoe; daughters, Debra Dunahoe all of Bridge City, and Susan Dunahoe Buscher of Winnie; sister, Berta Bowen of Cleveland; grandchildren, Jeff, Josh, and Hannah Dunahoe, and Ashley Buscher; and great grandchildren, Taylor and Bryce Dunahoe.
