Four Are Killed In Idaho Bomber Crash

MOUNTAIN HOME, Ida., June 5 (U.P.) -- Four crew members of a two engine bomber from the Mountain Home Army Air base were killed yesterday when the plane crashed and burned during a combat training flight, the station commandant announced.

Those killed include:

Cpl. Byron V. Dunn, son of Mrs. Lena Dranell [sic Darnell], Dallas, Tex.

Next of kin have been notified.

The station commandant said a board of army air force officials were investigating the cause of the crash.

Bomber Crash Kills Four in Idaho

MOUNTAIN HOME, Idaho, June 6 (AP) -- Four men were killed Sunday when a twin-engined bomber from the Mountain Home army air field crashed and burned 16 miles east of Twin Falls.

Lt. Col. Clarence D. Barnhill, station commandant, listed the dead as:

Sd. Lt. William R. Comery, husband of Mrs. Norma H. Comery of Boise, Idaho.

Sd. Lt. Richard P. Clements, husband of Mrs. Jeanne C. Clements of Boise.

Corp. Byron V. Dunn, son of Mrs. Lena Darnell of 2131 South Brighton street, Dallas, Texas.
