Mint Magee

Funeral services for C. Mint Magee, attended by many, were held Sunday afternoon at the Winnsboro First Baptist Church, followed by burial in Myrtle Memorial Cemetery. The Rev. Clarence Young, First Baptist pastor, conducted the rites.

Mr. Magee, 62, well-known life-long resident of Winnsboro, was killed Friday afternoon in a two car head-on collision on Louisiana Highway 139 about 10 miles north of Monroe.

A retired merchant, Mr. Magee was a cattleman and farmer.

He is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Juddie Watts and Mrs. Missie Oliver of Wisner and Mrs. Cordie Hopkins of Winnsboro; three brothers, T. K. Magee of Rayville, Louis Magee, Swampers, and W. M. (Bill) Magee, Winnsboro.
