OPELOUSAS -- Callie Gregg, 78, the former Callie Hawthorne, of Opelousas, died at 12:15 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 20, 2002, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at noon Tuesday, Jan. 22, at Sibille Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Bihm Cemetery in Waxia. Visitation is from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to services Tuesday. Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Gregg, a native of Parhams and a resident of Opelousas, died at 12:15 p.m. Sunday, January
20, 2002, at her residence. She was a member of the Opelousas Pilot Club and the Bon Ami
Chapter of the A.B.W.A.
Survivors include: a daughter, Mrs. Susan Bihm and husband Steven of Port Barre; a son, Richard
Gregg and wife Carola of Lawrenceville, Ga.; two sisters, Odessa Trisler of Mayna, and Ella
Marie Boyce of La Jolla, Calif.; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Gregg was preceded in death by her husband, William N. Gregg Jr.; and a brother, Alfred C.
Hawthorne.
Visiting hours will be observed from 5 to 9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. Tuesday until time of
services.
Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas is in charge of arrangements.
