Calvin Coolidge Vaughn

Calvin Coolidge Vaughn, 87, of Inez passed away Monday, May 7, 2012. He was born September 7, 1924, in Laneville to the late Simon Levi and Martha Viola Allen Vaughn. Calvin served his country in the United States Army Air Force during World War II. He was a self-employed carpenter and a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife of over 61 years, Mildred Cook Vaughn of Inez; daughters, Martha Elizabeth (Liz) Lienemann and husband, Herbert of Inez, and Sheri Vaughn Ressman and husband, Jeffrey of Rowlett; sons, Leslie Neal Vaughn and wife, Tammie of Sweeny, and Randy Calvin Vaughn and wife, Jacqueline of Victoria; brother, Gilford Vaughn of Palestine; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sisters, Georgia Scott and Jenny Harding.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Thursday, May 10, 2012, at Rosewood Funeral Chapel.
Funeral services will be at 2 pm Saturday, May 12, 2012, at Mt. Smyrna Baptist Church in Oak Flat, Texas, Rev. Roger Harding officiating. Burial will follow at Holliman Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Sonny (Brian) Lienemann, Calvin James Vaughn, Austin Lee Vaughn, Eric James Ressman, Sonny Lienemann and Jeffrey Wayne Ressman.
Honorary pallbearers will be Samuel Vaughn, Kendra Vaughn, Lezlea Lienemann and April Cavazos.
