Camille Crum Honea
Camille Crum Honea, 87, of Magnolia, died July 24, 2010 at her residence. She was born February 7, 1923 in Gloster, MS. She was the daughter of Hollis and Dorothy Longmire Crum. She was a longtime active member of Glading Baptist Church and was a retired dairy farmer. She loved nature, was a former member of the Amite County Homemakers Club and Quilting Guild.
Mrs. Honea was a devoted mother and grandmother that taught her family ``Christian'' values and work ethics. She continued to work and do for her family up until days before her passing. She was an unbelievably strong woman that leaves behind a legacy of love.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Maurice Lee Honea and a granddaughter, Jennifer Hartsog.
She is survived by four children and their spouses, Donald and Suzanne Honea and Wayne and Janice Honea of Magnolia; Glenna and Dr. Jeff Hartsog of Jackson and Gayle and Marty Cornwell of Summit; eight grandchildren, Jamie Fortinberry, Erika Nunnery, Lee Honea, Lisa Smith, Marc Honea, Chan Hartsog, Cody Cornwell and Cutter Cornwell; ten great-grandchildren; four sisters, Margaret Rogers of Magnolia, Elaine Rose of Ocean Springs, Jenilyn Hall of Vicksburg and Jo Evelyn Bozung of Tacoma, WA; five nieces and nephews, Dan Hall, Dianne Williams and Richard O'Bannon of Vicksburg, Carol O'Bannon of Gautier and Bobby Torbert of Greenville, LA.
Visitation is Monday at Hartman-Sharkey Funeral Home in McComb from 5PM until 7PM and Tuesday from 10AM until services at 11AM with Rev. Byron Wilkinson officiating. Burial will be in Honea cemetery.
