GLOSTER -- Services for Carey Lee Caston, 87, who died Saturday, May 27, 2006, at his residence, will be at 2 p.m. today at Enterprise Baptist Church with the Revs. Earnest Whittington, Keith Zachary and Robert Hanke officiating.
Burial will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Amite County.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home of Gloster and from 11 a.m. to service time today at the church.
Mr. Caston was born Dec. 11, 1918 in Liberty, the son of Samuel Albert Caston and Icy Lena Jones Caston. He was a retired car salesman and former employee of Bluff City Motors and Jordan Auto in Natchez.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Claude Morris Caston.
Survivors include: his wife of 65 years, Lyndel Jackson Caston; two daughters, Arlevia C. Martin of Natchez and Joyce C. Kaiser and husband Clem of Pride, La.; two granddaughters, Sharron Coleman of Natchez and Lynde Vinson of Baton Rouge; three grandsons, Kelly Elveston and wife Ashley of Natchez, Michael Vinson and wife Tamra of Kingwood, Texas and Jason Carey Vinson of Baton Rouge; five great-grandchildren, Sharrlee McLemore, Darron Coleman and Braxton Elveston, all of Natchez, and Rory and Micah Vinson of Kingwood; one great-great grandchild, Riana Hinton of Natchez; and one sister, Theda Johnson of Central, La.
Pallbearers will be, Sharron Coleman, Kelly Elveston, Michael Vinson, Jason Vinson, Lynde Vinson and David Jackson.
